We had 6 adults (4 dads, 2 moms) and 6 kids (ages 2-9) for a 6 hour Red Snapper run. Cpt. Chase and Mr. House were great. They not only put us on fish, but worked hard to both educate and get everyone involved. The cabin is cooled for those looking for a break from the sun, equipped with an tv/dvd player for the kids; and the back deck is clean and spacious; able to accommodate many anglers at the same time.

The 6 hour trip is perfect for young kids. Plenty of action to get them excited without having to worry about their moods tail spinning. Throw some dogs and sausage on the pit for the troll back in, and you’re set for success. Kids will love it and walk away with memories (and fish).

If it’s an adults/older-kids run you’re making, I’d definitely go out for longer. We filled the cooler with enough for each adult to limit (plus a couple), but for a big group you need more time in the drop spots. But if you’re on the fence about young kids getting to experience it with you (as some in our group were), I would absolutely recommend going out with these guys. You’ll have a great trip.

Captain Chase Newton and first mate Brannon House worked extremely hard to bring a fun-filled and memorable fishing excursion to the eight of us. Captain Chase charted a smooth sailing course, avoiding some early inclement weather, which enhanced our trip. We caught a lot of Spanish mackerel while trolling, and then a lot of red snapper, a few trigger fish, and
a vermillion snapper while we were bottom fishing.  Captain Chase and 1st mate House went out of their way to make sure that we stayed over excellent fishing spots to catch as many fish as we possibly could. All of the fishing equipment worked flawlessly, and the first mate kept our hooks baited faster than we could do it ourselves!

We had an amazing time on our fishing charter! Captain Chase and House were professional, friendly, and really knew how to put us on the fish. We caught plenty of red snapper, triggerfish, and a variety of other species, which made the trip exciting from start to finish. The boat was clean and comfortable, and the whole experience was fun and stress-free. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great day on the water!

Great trip for us! Chase and House were just like we’ve known them forever. They were super friendly and made our trip very enjoyable. Will book again! We had a awesome time!!!!

These boys know what they are doing.  The first mate, House, was a HUSTLER.  And such a fun personality - we LOVED him.  Our captain was busy captain-ing so we didn’t get to visit with him as much - but he was just as great and kept us over all the best fishing holes ;)  Cannot recommend this one enough - there were 13 of us and even the ones who didn’t plan on fishing ended up doing it and loving it!
