Captain Jared was awesome! My wife and I had a great time fishing for walleye. The captain was very knowledgeable about where to go, and what to use, to target the fish that we were interested in catching. The boat was very comfortable and he had all of the fishing tackle we needed. We had a great experience fishing with Captain Jared!  He was well prepared, very knowledgeable and answered all our questions about fishing for walleye in the St. Lawrence River.  Jared adjusted our trip to meet our specific objectives.  We caught some walleye and smallmouth bass.  We learned techniques that we can now use going forward on our own.  We highly recommend a fishing trip with J-Rod.

Had a great time with Captain Jared of J-Rod Charter. He was great host to my son and I. He was very attentive and helpful, taking care of all the rods, reels, and lures. We caught walleye, northern pike, and a rather big perch. Overall it was a very enjoyable day of fishing that my son and I will remember fondly.

We had an amazing experience with Capt. Jared!  He was so nice and very accommodating!  He is a very personable with a great sense of humor.  His prices were spot on and he even offered to clean our fish!  We are definitely booking a trip with him next year!
