Captain Mike is a native of Dauphin Island and he fishes the salt waters southbound of Dauphin Island and the Gulf Shores. He's on the water every day and has the ability to go straight to the location of the big fish. The captain keeps a heavy interest in what fish is biting where and who's catching what. Saltwater runs deep through his veins. He loves to catch and prepare all kinds of seafood, so ask him about some recipes! The captain can also hook you up with local 'catch 'n' cook' restaurants or send you to the best taxidermist. He takes pride in giving newcomers the full experience of what it's like to live and fish on the Gulf Coast. Captain Mike loves to teach fishing techniques and target specific species as well as catch his own baits by cast net and pull his trawling nets for wild Shrimp and sea life. He loves various activities related to boating, shrimping, and fishing. In his own words: 'This 'Big Water' is my playground and it's time to play.'

    Fishing with Capt Mike!

    Deep Sea Fishing (PM) 6-People • 6 adults • 3 children

    We brought our young children and nephew to gulf fish for their first time! Mike made it happen! Mike cattered to them to make sure they had an enjoyable experience and landed us our limit on red snapper! We highly recommend Mike for family trips and a relaxing enjoyable time! Thanks again Mike!

    Huge Red Snappers

    4 Hour – Walk On Red Snapper (AM) • 2 adults

    My son and I had a blast fishing with Mike. We went out for a four hour fishing trip. As soon as we found a spot to to stop and start fishing we were pulling in fish. My son pulled in a 19 pound and 20 pound Red Snapper. This was our first deep sea fishing trip in the ocean and was throughly impressed. I would recommend Mike to anyone who is looking for a guide. We will be back a definitely will be using Mike as a guide again. Thanks Mike!!

    4 Hour - Walk On Fishing (AM) • 2 adults

    Captain Mike is hands down a fantastic guy. We booked a morning trip and ended up staying with him all day and then went out with him and some other locals for the evening. He made us feel like we were part of his island family. Definitely going to book another trip with him. Allowed us to bring my shepherd on the boat for the day and his chihuahua, Cardi, is the cutest and sweetest fur baby.

    Half Day Trip with Captain Mike

    Offshore Fishing Trip (AM) • 6 adults • 1 child

    This was our first fishing trip and we had a great time, even though the weather was against us - a LOT of wind and fog. The conditions did not stop Captain Mike from searching for a good place to fish. He was very determined and he found a great spot . We caught sheephead, flounder, spotted trout and a sting ray that Captain Mike released. We enjoyed his company, talked about the Island and he is very knowledgeable about deep sea fishing. Thank You Captain Mike if we come down again we will look you up.

    We had a fun trip out with Captain Mike. It was a colder day and the wind was too bad to go offshore, so we had to stay inshore and fish. After going to second location, we caught 3 sheepshead fish and he cleaned them for us afterwards. He was very knowledgeable about the fishing and recommended how to cook the fish which were delicious!

    Our original trip got cancelled due to weather and this trip was booked on morning of - for an 4 hr trip. Red snapper was not legal on our day trip but Cpt Mike got us on some nice big - fun fighting Cobia - most on trip were newbies so we had a good time.
