6 Hour Weekend Trip 3 to 4 people • 3 adultsWhat a great experience and the birthday gift keeps giving with the amazing Coho Salmon we were able to bring back with us. We celebrated y 40th birthday with Captain Mike He was very knowledgeable and quick on his feet to get us to catch the fish. "Relentless Pursuit", you will know where the boat gets its name when you see Captain Matt stop at no costs to catch the most amount of fish. Thank you Captain Matt!

Terrible trip
6 Hour Weekend Trip 5 to 6 people • 5 adultsThis was the worst charter fishing trip I've ever been on. Fishing was terrible, the Captain didn't even know we had 2 fish on and dragged one fish until it was dead. In addition, the Captain ruined 6 of his own poles and down righer gear so at the end we were only fishing with 4 poles. I should have demanded money back. Avoid this disaster at all cost.

Lake conditions where less than ideal the day of your trip with the fish bite being off with the weather front that passed through, and we know you had high expectations of catching fish even with the conditions. Tangling gear does happen when salmon fishing as the fish can swim into other rods. We still managed to catch 4 fish during your trip, and we did offer a significant discount for a future trip as conditions were less than ideal that day. We always strive to give our clients the best possible trip but we always do say it's fishing, not catching. Best, Captain Matt

Lake Trout Taking

With straight east winds today, the fishing was rough as waves were in the three to five foot range. While Lake Trout and the occasional Steelhead Trout or Coho Salmon can be caught, weather conditions this week will not be ideal for fishing. These two meant business through and rode the waves long enough to bring in these six fish!

Captain's King Salmon

During a Sunday Funday fishing trip after getting fuel, Captain Matt decided to drop some lines to see what fish were looking for a mid-day snack. With the lake rolling over late Saturday night, random pockets of cold water meant the opportunity to find big King Salmon. This 20 lb 4-year-old King Salmon was caught on a Warrior Lures Steelhead Candy spoon.
Although the King Salmon bite is there, we're catching more Coho Salmon, Lake Trout and Steelhead currently - but the potential is there!

Happy Bithday and Happy Fishing!

Our Saturday trip was a birthday trip from mother to son - what a great idea! Throughout the day, the swells and chop on the water increased, but so did this group's excitement! Working the waters from 150 ft to 180 ft, this group reeled in 12 fish with other opportunities to catch as well. Competition was fierce with this group to see who could reel in the biggest fish - and as you can see, there were plenty to weigh!

Our Friday trip was with an old friend of Relentless Pursuit who brought his nieces and nephews with - what a great idea! We had plenty of opportunities to bring in the fish with lots of action on the rod, and this group brought home 7 fish plus great stories to share!

Fishing After the Blow

Fishing action is starting to change as we move into mid-summer. Although the Coho Salmon are still around, they're now in pockets...but once you find them, they're biting! The winds out of the northeast over the weekend stirred up the lake, and the rollers that came with it made fishing conditions not as enjoyable as they have been. Although we cut this trip short per the customer's request, we still caught a few fish in the short time we were out there.

Coho Salmon - Keep 'Em Coming!

Today featured two trips each with an incredible couple - and could they catch fish! We found plenty of Coho Salmon along with a few Lake Trout to round out their day. Although the fishing has cooled in certain areas, if you know where to look, the Coho Salmon are still available, so book your trip soon!
