Always loved to fish, started as a deck hand when I was young, became tournament angler and TV host. Traveled all across the United States as a freshwater tournament angler, sport fished the Pacific Ocean out of Sand Diego and Hawaii, the Atlantic out of North Carolina. Spent 24 years in the US Air Force, retired in 2006. Currently residing in the Destin, Florida continuing my passion for fishing as a charter boat captain.

    Great captain, great fishing, great time!

    Half Day Trip (AM) – Fishing • 5 adults

    Dave was a great captain and made sure everyone on the boat had a great time. He’s an experienced captain and fisherman who knows how to put you on the fish! We caught Vermilion Snapper, Red Snapper, Mangrove Snapper, Triggerfish, and Grouper. He even took the time to stop so we could watch some dolphins! We had five adults in our group, and everyone caught several fish. It was a great experience from start to finish. Highly recommend Dave and H&H for anyone looking for a great fishing trip!

    Awesome Trip!

    Half Day Trip (AM) – Fishing • 6 adults • 3 children

    We had a great time. Dave was amazing! Took us to several spots that were all succesful. We caught triggerfish, red snapper, vermillion snapper, and spanish mackerel. Then we caught “bait fish” to fish for amberjack. We had three kids and three adults and everyone had a great time. Additionally, we heard many stories about the area, the buildings, and the artificial reefs. Dave has been doing this for 30+ years and it definitely shows. Will definitely call Dave again when we come back next spring break!

    Great Experience

    Half Day Trip (AM) – Fishing • 6 adults

    Dave is very knowledgeable and very personable! whatever your goals are for the trip/day he makes it his #1 priority that you get that experience! caught 38 fish that we were able to keep and take home. Dave and Derek will filet and package all fish as well which makes experience seamless! Will be using Dave and Derek again in future trips to Destin.

    Captain Dave was great engaged everyone and made the trip fun for everyone. Caught fish even though they weren’t biting very aggressively. Great time

    Great Fishing Trip

    Custom Trip – 5 Hours + • 3 adults

    Captain Dave was great, highly recommend going out with him. He instantly put us on fish and our family had a blast! Can’t say enough about Captain Dave, he knows his stuff! We had a great trip and we’re already booked for next year! Can’t wait to come back and go out with him again!
