If you’re thinking about going fishing and not booking with Major Look Fishing Charters… well, you’ve clearly never met Skipper Warren – the man, the myth, the absolute fishing legend.

From the moment we stepped aboard, Warren treated us like long-lost mates, not just customers. He’s the kind of bloke who could probably teach a goldfish to catch a bigger fish, and that’s saying something, because I have the fishing skills of a distracted toddler with a spaghetti noodle for a rod.

But did that stop Warren? Absolutely not. This man was on a mission. I swear, if he could have, he’d have dived in, wrangled a snapper barehanded, and politely asked it to hop on my hook so I didn’t go home empty-handed. That’s the level of dedication we’re talking about here.

Warren was friendly, patient, and kept the vibes immaculate all day long. He cheered every catch like it was the Olympics of angling, and somehow made me feel like I knew what I was doing (spoiler: I did not).

By the end of the trip, we’d all caught a stack of fish, had a load of laughs, and made some reel-ly good memories (yes, I went there). Honestly, it was the best fishing charter I’ve ever been on – and I’ve tried a few, usually ending in me catching sunburn and disappointment.

Major Look Fishing Charter isn’t just a fishing trip. It’s an experience. It’s therapy. It’s comedy. It’s action. We could have not have asked for a better day!

Bottom line: I’m never fishing with anyone else again. Unless Warren retires to a tropical island – in which case, I’ll be moving there too.

10/10 would let Warren coach me through fish-whispering again.

The Easterly winds didn’t deter Captain Warren from giving us 4 every chance of catching fish, despite the weather. He knew his stuff and the made the best of a potentially tough situation. Result was kids catching their first fish, good amount of fish. Big George Whiting, snapper, leather jacket and a Banjo shark that went straight back in. Thanks Warren kids had a great time.

Really welcoming and informative staff on board. The captain warren was really helpful for us novice fishermen.

Caught loads of fish of all different varieties and he had us out in beautiful spots. Would recommend and will be going again!

Warren was a great skipper, giving all of us who needed it, a bit of a helping hand. There weren’t a lot of fish around , but we all got at least one, and Warren tried lots of spots for us. Well worth it and will go again
