- Ever since his father took him fishing at the age of 4, Captain Rich has had the salt-water disease. He's been on the water ever since then and has never looked back. His record catches include 3 Sharks over 500 pounds - one as big as 750; a 500 lb Blue Marlin, and a 600 lb Black Marlin. His passion never fades and is just as excited when reeling in a Yellowtail Snapper as he is a big game fish. Putting people on the fish and seeing them get excited is what it's all worth for Capt. Rich, and he's loved his job since he started running charters in 1977.
- Techniques
- My favorite fishing trips see us put up a kite with live baits while we drift along bottom fishing. Using these two different techniques we cover the entire water column and we catch Sails, Mahi, Kingfish, Cobia, Mutton and Yellowtail Snappers, grouper, and jacks.
