Techniques: We start out jiggling fishing for walleye in March and as the water warms up we switch to casting for them. Trolling is also available all season. We start perch fishing early July using minnows.

What a weekend

Saturday i ran a trip with 3 people we got rained on early the fish shut off supposed to be a 6 hr trip but since I didn’t have a afternoon trip we fished for 9 hrs for a total of 6 keepers. Sunday ran 2 trips got 18 walleye on each trip what a difference a day makes.

First trip of the season

Started out a little slow but ended up fast and furious. Ended with customer’s limit plus the captain’s limit. Ended up throwing 5 24” walleye back .

Lake Erie perch

Did a midday trip on 10/5/19 in the camp perry firing range caught a four man limit

Full Day Trip – Walleye/Perch Combo

We went on a day which was less than ideal with 20+ mph winds. We tried for walleyes, but the wind was too much. Since this was a perch and walleye trip, we switched to perch and caught a limit. It took longer than we actually contracted for, but Captain Larry stayed so we could have a good experience. Larry is a competent and accommodating captain. I recommend a trip with Stacking Fish charters. I don’t believe you will be disappointed.
