We had a great day fishing with Captain John. It was projected to be very hot so Captain John suggested we leave an hour early, smart decision. The day turned out to be perfect for fishing. Captain John is a wonderful skipper and guide, great stories and he knows where the fish are. My nephew and I had a memorable time fishing with Captain Bolton yesterday. He arrived on time at the meeting location and we caught a lot of white bass. My nephew later told me that this was the best fishing charter he had ever been on because of the captain’s kind demeanor, his unique ability to teach us about important fishing information, and his knowledge and awareness of locating fish in Lake Livingston. Had to work for it, but still managed a decent haul of white bass for a morning charter. Beautiful weather. Captain John is great, and I will certainly use him again on my next time to Lake Livingston.  The wife and I had a really great time!
