Loaded the boat up with grouper. It was a great trip. Friendly and hospitable crew. I will say when it came time to get my fish cleaned. You pay guys at the dock/marina. Which is fine, what wasn’t fine was giving the guy fish we caught (we caught 20-30 overall and I was only taking 6, the rest to the crew). he fillets my 6 grouper and he tried to charge me $60 for 5 minutes worth of work. We actually met with Stuart not the main captain and he was great. We caught around 50 fish and had a great experience. Everyone caught fish. There were actually two crew members helping us . They also made it very convenient for us and met us at Atlantis Marina to pick us up and drop us off there since we were staying at the Harbor-side Atlantis resort. From the second my 9yo son and 11yo daughter got on the boat, first mate Baba said we’re like family now and he and Captain Andre have such a chill and relaxing vibe, it was like medicine… In a short time we were “family” with Uncle Baba light heartedly telling us about the island and he and Cpt Andre put us on fish! Wonderful morning of fiahing. they picked us up at the Atlantis dock, we caught lots of fish, and at least five different species. we hooked on to a nurse shark, and saw a hammerhead follow our grouper right up to the boat. They cleaned the fish we wanted and we ate them at the restaurant next to the marina. we gave the crew the rest. great experience.

This experience was easily one of the best parts of our vacation. It was relaxed, personal, engaging, and so much fun! It was a great chance for our 9&11 year old boys to fish on the ocean for the first time and even snorkel! The captain and crew helped us learn and manage our catches, the kids had a blast and we even caught a shark! They were respectful and extremely knowledgeable about the fish we caught. We felt very welcome and would definitely do this again!
