We were hosted by Cpt Victor Barerra, long time Port Isabel Guide, and he did a terrific job in showing us how to fish in Laguna Madre.  We caught the max allowable ocean trout and we had them cleaned and eaten in no time.  Phenomenal experience that we would recommend to anyone.

TJ was phenomenal.  We were in fish pretty much all morning and when things slowed, we made a move.  Due to recent weather, I don’t think any of us had high expectations.  TJ had us in fish all morning when many other boats were struggling.  When I come back to Padre, I will absolutely book with TJ again.  If we had more time this week, I would have booked a second trip.  Thanks so much for a great morning

We thoroughly enjoyed our time on the water with Captain TJ.  The day was questionable but the storms held off until we ended the morning with a double hook-up to complete 2 limits of trout.  Back at the cleaning table before 10:00am and beat the rain. He cleaned and bagged them and we were off.  He knows when to move to his different spots and it paid off.  Will FOR SURE book again the next time we visit SPI.  TJ is very experienced, personable and encouraging.  Great time!  Cant say enough.

Great captain and experience! Some guides you just “go fishing with” but Captain Aaron put us on the fish and really made our trip epic! Highly recommend booking with TJ Boom! Five stars!

A great captain and guide. We on the fish most of the morning. We moved to stay on them as soon as they stopped hitting. TJ is a professional at his craft providing his guests expert instruction, patience, and fun.  We are already planning another trip and it will definitely be with TJ.
