Background
Captain Shane Green was born and raised in the Charleston area. With over 25 years of experience on the local waters, fishing has always occupied the majority of his free time. Capt. Shane spent every chance he had fishing in both fresh and salt water, eventually becoming an avid fisherman. He finally decided to take his passion for fishing to the next level and began fishing competitively in the IFA and the Lowcountry Redfish Cups. Capt. Shane now spends time showing his guests how to hook and land some of the large species that swim in the waters of Charleston. He enjoys showing anglers many different types and techniques of fishing. He believes that everyone can be given a way to catch fish, from the small child fishing for the first time to the avid weekend angler.

Had a great trip with Capt. Shane it was cold and the wind was relentless but we put Redfish in the boat. I would defiantly recommend Low Country Lazy and Capt. Shane for a great time on the water here in the Lowcountry of Charleston.

I’ve booked Captain Shane on a few trips now, but this was the most unique experience yet poling the flats and little channels to get to the honey hole! Ended up catching quite a few black drum and reds some hitting over the 10# mark for a great day on the water. If you want a technical true low country experience ask for the 18’ footer boat. Captain Shane will get you in places most others wouldn’t think about going!

Thanks for the review. It’s always rewarding to know that our clients had a good time. We look forward to having you both on the boat again. It’s as much fun for us to see you guys catch as it is for you to do the catching.

I have to say I had a blast. Not only were the crew the friendliest people to be around but the views of the dolphins coming up to the boat and following us was amazing. I myself didn’t do any fishing but the company and laughter was enough. I would highly recommend Lowcountry Lazy charters for a good time. Roxanne Ericson.

Thanks so much for the kind words. Your group was so much fun to have on board. We would love to have any or all of you back anytime.Your idea to stop and dock for dinner was a great one. We enjoyed the trip as much as your group did.

This was out first time out on a smaller charter and the experience was amazing. We didnt lift a finger to do anything but catch fish and boy did we catch some fish !! The Captain was pleasant and a breath of fresh air. Knowledgeable and had no issue once so ever that we were newbies with no idea what we were doing. He put us right on the fish and kept the excitement going. My husband and I were catching fish at the same exact time - I dont mean little fish either !! Captain Shane managed the situation like a champ and it was never stressful or confusing and we both landed our fish. His equipment from the boat to the rods and reels were quality stuff !!  WE WILL DEFINITELY BE BOOKING WITH LOWCOUNTRY LAZY AGAIN !!
