We had an amazing experience with Captain David and his first Mate David Jr.
They were so nice to the Kids - they got to ride in the first Mate seat on the boat, real-in the fish we caught (we even caught a Grupper!!) and walk around and explore freely.
At the coral reef snorkel stop our little one didn’t want to go in, and was able to stay with Captain David on the boat.
At Stingray City the crew brought multiple stingrays for the kids to hold, pet and have a close encounter with
Throughout the trip Captain David answered ALL our questions and explained everything for the kids, and at the end he showed them how to clean and fillet the fish - we were able to take the fillets with us and cook it for lunch - honestly the best fish we’ve had so far!
We had a blast, and highly recommend the experience, even for families with little ones :)

After 3 years of reef fishing in CI we opted for the deep sea adventure. Did a lot of research and selected Capt Dave and his son. Excellent choice as he is an enthusiastic master of his trade, as well as teacher, and hard worker. He has a natural ability to narrate and explain the process, rods, reels, bait, hooks, use of different rods and reels along way, knots, live bait and lures and the outriggers. Any level or skill will enjoy the depth of his knowledge and his willingness to share his strategies and approach. We caught some nice fish, enjoyed the well equipped and stable boat, and highly recommend for families or serious fishing fanatics.

Highly recommend. David is a master fisherman and over the top host with the assistance of his son.
My husband, son, and myself have minimal fishing experience and non on the open water . David provided everything we needed and his expertise made the experience easy and so enjoyable. There was water, soda, and chips available for us to enjoy. He even shared some homemade conch ceviche with us.
In total we caught 3 barracudas. Had a king fish but lost it as we were trying to reel it in . Also had 2 other fish that got away. The experience we had on this boat with David and his son was top notch and would definitely recommend and we cannot wait to come back and join David and David Jr for another great adventure. Book with David. You will not regret it. We learned so much about fishing in 4 hours than I ever thought I would in a lifetime.

I’ve been on many, many fishing trips, all over the Caribbean,  and I fish at home all the time in my boat, so - safe to say, it’s pretty tough to bullshit me.  We caught fish, lobster, conch - all while having a wonderful time with someone that could easily be my Brother…nevermind - David is one now!  David and his Son, David Jr. are wonderful Christian men, and they know the water, baits, safety, and have a great work ethic & attitude!  I would fish with them all week if I could.  They will be my ONLY CHOICE when coming back to Grand Cayman. I’ll definitely fish with these gentlemen again. I almost hate to leave this review, because I want to keep em for myself!

If you pick them, I guarantee - fish or no fish will be a darn good time!  They made my trip to Cayman a fantastic success!

This is our second trip with the David crew. We brought extra family with us this time and the trip didn’t disappoint! I highly recommend going fishing with them. While they can’t guarantee catch, we’ve caught multiple each time and everyone had such a great experience. Even our 3 kids under 8 enjoyed! We enjoyed fish for 10 adults with plenty left over for the crew. We appreciate you David - thank you and hope to be back!!!
