My kids (11 & 12) and I spent the last Friday in May with Captain Scotty at Port Charlotte. Rods were in the water for less than a minute and both kiddos got their first catch, at the same time! I lost track of how many snook, trout, snapper, catfish, and gofftopsail they caught. My brother Barney visited from Amarillo Texas and wanted to go fishing in Charlotte Harbor.  Capt Scotty did not disappoint.  We caught a lot of fish including snook,Jack crevalle, catfish, lady fish, mangrove snapper, trout,redfish, and black drum. We fished the last half hour in a downpour (no lightning or thunder) and had a blast as my brother caught a big redfish during that time.  Brian Barnhart, his rates are standard and we recommend him. Scotty was ready to welcome us aboard at the beginning time and had everything prepared to include bottled water and a great customer service.  He guided us throughout the day trying to find the best fishing locations.  We scheduled the six hour tour and there was never a dull moment.  Thanks Capt. Capt. Scotty was a great guy and guide!!! We caught a bunch of fish. I had my 8 year old grandson with me and he was wonderful with him! Can’t wait to do it again!!!
