I have fished the area my whole life but never thought I would be doing this for a living, however as one door closed the opportunity to step into the charter industry opened. I have now been a full time Captain since 2008 and love getting on the boat and meeting new people everyday.
Techniques
I enjoy using light tackle on whatever species is being targeted. Dragging a fish in on heavy tackle is one thing,but downsizing the tackle and actually fighting the fish and listening to a screaming drag is a completely different experience. Fishing is why people book the trip, but the whole experience is why people come back!
