I picked Alexander’s Guide service based off their boat. You can usually judge a outfit by their equipment. Wayne and DK were friendly and responsive. The rest of the guides were running around on tiny flat bottom boats you typically see in tiny lakes, and charging twice as much. We watched them getting beat up by the waves. The 29’ North River we were on cut through the water perfectly. We will be booking with Alexander for our next trip.

June 12, 2025. The Captain and mate took my buddy and me in fishing trip today. In spite of weather that rolled in we had an awesome time. We caught a good mess of fish. The crew went out of their way to make a great day. They supplied food which consisted of best sub sandwiches, chips and drinks. I e been on about 20 guided fishing trips. Salt water and fresh water. This is best so far. Thank you ti the crew for an absolutely great trip

Captain Alexander and his deckhand made us feel at home with them immediately.  They were very friendly and knowledgeable.  They knew where to go to find the fish and put us on them.  We caught the spoonbills we were looking for and a good size too.  He even made a sub sandwich, which was an awesome perk.  They cleaned and filleted the fish just how we wanted.  What an awesome day!

We had a great day on the water with Captain Wayne and his wife! Our two boys had a blast, and they were well taken care of with kid’s snacks! We didn’t catch a spoon-bill, but we were able to each land a sand bass! Wayne’s subway sandwich was an awesome snack while on the water!

We had a great time today fishing with Captain Wayne and DK!  We caught fish that we don’t catch in South Louisiana which is what we hoped for.  Capt. Wayne cleaned the fish for us and we just finished eating them. All around a great day!  We’re booking again early next year.  Looking forward to it!
