We really enjoyed Kevin’s willingness to teach us about the area, and even some of our novices how to cast. He put us on redfish right away. The boat was clean, the captain friendly, and the bay beautiful, and everyone caught trout and redfish. The water is so clear and shallow that you can see fun things as well. We “oohed and awed” over hammerhead sharks, sting rays, turtles, and a gorgeous sunrise. What more could we ask of inshore fishing? Kevin knew the area and put us on the fish again and again! I just wanted to give Captin Kevin a big thank you for the wonderful day of fishing we had! Me and my husband had a horrible experience with a different charter in another state but this second experience was such a wonderful experience and we can not wait to come down again and book with Kevin! We had a blast slamming down all those fish ! The Drums were a blast to reel in and the fight was amazing! We could not of had a better turn around for a charter experience and Kevin knows all the right places and what to use when you arrive so if you are looking for a garunteed fun filled experience book with Kevin!

I was looking for a fishing trip to surprise my husband with for his birthday, and “clueless” was the best way to describe my feelings of where to begin. I came upon this website and Port St. Joe Charters. The reviews were all so positive, and Captain Kevin sounded like the perfect guide to help our family have a FUN celebration on the water. From my initial “clueless” inquiry, to providing trip information and details, Kevin was so easy to work with. The trip itself was a BLAST! Kevin took the time to teach, tell stories, and celebrate our excitement, especially when my daughter and I both caught one fish with two different rods! : ) This is a second home area for us, so Kevin’s stories of growing up in CSB and PSJ added a personal touch to the trip. The fishing was fantastic, and seeing the various sea turtles swim by or come up to take a look was spectacular! My husband was truly surprised and impressed with his trip. He has fished many more times than me, so when he said that he couldn’t wait for us to go again, I knew that I chose well with Port St. Joe Charters!!! We will definitely be booking with Kevin again!
