We booked a 6-hour fishing trip with SoFlo Sport Fishing, and overall, it was a great day on the water! Captain Dave and his mate Seth were both friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable.
Unfortunately, the fish just weren’t biting during the first 4 hours of our trip, which was a bit of a disappointment, especially since our involvement was just reeling in whatever was on the line. That said, Captain Dave and Seth were determined to find a successful spot for us, and that helped to make the trip enjoyable, despite the slow start.
It ended up being a fun and memorable trip, which is what we were looking for!

My family of 4 (2 adults & 2 boys, 9 & 15) went out for a 6 hour trip. It was my boys’ first time doing more than lake or beach fishing. We started catching Mahi so quickly we were all shocked! Captain Dave and his First Mate Shawn were awesome! They had my little one reeling in fish left and right. We caught 22 mahi and a large Black Grouper that had EVERYONE on board pumped! It was a GREAT catching day! :)

Fantastic trip with SOFLO sport fishing. We did a beginners trip for my 6 year old and it was so worth it. He absolutely loved it. Captain and crew where just great, kind and professional. We recently booked a fishing charter with SoFlo sport fishing, and let me tell you, it was one for the books! From start to finish, the experience was top-notch. Captain Dave and the deckhand Jeff were nothing short of amazing. They knew exactly where to go, and it wasn’t long before we were reeling in fish faster than we could count.

I’m convinced Captain Dave has some kind of sixth sense for finding fish—or maybe he just speaks fluent “fish.” Either way, the guy knows his stuff. And Jeff? Let’s just say he could probably bait a hook blindfolded with one hand tied behind his back. His tips and tricks were on point, and he made sure we all had a blast while staying safe on the water.

We not only left with a cooler full of fish, but also with memories that’ll keep us smiling until our next trip. Plus, my arms are now two inches bigger from pulling in all those big ones—who needs the gym?
