Excellent experience from the moment I booked to the minute it ended.  The captain and crew worked very hard to get us fish, moving locations, freshening baits, doing what they needed to in order to make sure we left completely satisfied.  In fact, it was such a good day, that we cut the 8-hour trip to a 6-hours…we couldn’t lift our arms any longer.  I’ve shortened trips b/c the fishing sucked, boat miserable, crew lack luster, but never because my arms hurt from catching too much!!! Took 3x Sailfish, 1x Bull Shark, 4x Mahi and more good sized Bonita than we could count.

The boat is very comfortable, well maintained, solid gear, and plenty of space to escape the sun.

I’ve fished plenty of places across the globe, some, several times, including Costa Rica, Bahamas, Hawaii, Aruba, Thailand, Alaska, the Carolinas, Mexico, Florida, Montauk, and many more…but I’d easily say this was at the very top of all my experiences.

These guys crushed it!!!!  Don’t hesitate to book your trip, you won’t be disappointed!!!!

Captain Miguel and Pedro worked their a$$e$ off for us! The seas were crazy rough, at least 6’ at 3 seconds apart… we didn’t have much hope for the day but they really came through. In total we caught 9 Dorados, 4 Bonita, a Barracuda, a Bull shark the size of a small camper and a SAILFISH. What a trip! We were all getting tossed around a bit but it was all worth it for the great day of catching. Thank you to the crew of the Showtime, Capt Miguel and Pedro. We will surely be booking with you again.

If you’re planning to fish in Cancun and you want more than just a day in the hot sun these are the guys to go with.  They take their fishing serious.  We went out and within 5 minutes of dropping a line we were catching skipjack tuna - our baitfish.  20 minutes later we had over 20 live baitfish in the boat.  On one of those lines I lost a Mahi-mahi.  We next went to find the barracuda and again within about 5 minutes of dropping the baitfish we were catching barracuda.  My first time ever catching these monster predator fish.  It was great fun even though my arms were sore by fish number 6.  I caught 12 barracuda in a matter of just a few hours and even lost a few.  These guys mean business when it comes to fishing.

We went deep sea trolling to try to catch sailfish, wahoo, marlin, etc.  Unfortunately, we did not get any of those, and according to the other boats out that day, they didn’t either (just a few bonito).  So we switched gears and went bottom fishing and caught some 4’ long barracuda which are quite tasty and good fighters.  But the highlight of the trip was on the way in when we saw some birds circling a school of fish.  As it turns out, it was a school of mullet also being chased by some very large jack crevalle.  The captain pulled the boat up to the swarm and cast into the feeding frenzy - and we caught a 25 pound Jack Crevalle almost instantly.  A very cool end to the day.

This crew really got right after it putting us on fish as soon as we reached the spot!  Landed 3 sailfish and 5 tuna in about 2 hours.  The crew was great help with my 10 year old when he caught a sailfish!  Very professional, friendly, and would recommend to anyone looking for a charter in Cancun.  We headed to the dock early because we were satisfied with our catch!
