So we came out to try to land a big one on an half day trip, knowing already that’s a lot to ask. We didn’t care to catch and keep anything. And well the fishing was SLOW. No fault of Brad that’s why it’s called fishing not catching. We ended up catching a nice 20+ and I was happy.  Made for some nice filets

Beautiful day on the water. Unfortunately the bite was slow, but capt Brad got us on a few of them. I always say… it’s called fishing not catching. We had a new angler in our group and Captn Brad went out of his way to patiently teach her how to bait hooks and fish. I highly recommend this guide to anyone looking to catch some catfish! We’ll be back in the spring for sure! Thanks Captn.

Was great and very knowledgeable about catfish.  He didn’t mind sharing his knowledge about drift fishing and line setups.  Although we didn’t catch as many as we wanted (who does) we caught enough and a couple HOGS.  Will be booking another trip before end of the year.

Highly recommend Capt. Padgett for a catfish charter trip! We caught a good amount of fish throughout the day with a few in the 15-pound range. The fish weren’t as active as usual, but Capt. Padgett moved around and tried different techniques to find fish. We had a great time!
