I started fishing at 3 years old with my dad and my love for the outdoors took off from there. Even during my time in the service, I would find a way to fish and hunt wherever I could. To say I live and breathe the outdoors is an understatement. Finally, after years of hesitation, I started Dream Catchers Charters in the spring of 2019 and it's been an amazing journey since then. On every trip, I see it as an opportunity to earn someone's business and make them feel like they got an experience they won't soon forget.

    Unless you personally get Bear Grilles to take you out fishing, im not sure you can get a more authentic experience. Captain is a true outdoors man and has extensive knowledge and experience which not only makes for great fishing but also great conversation.

    Whipping For Walleye • 2 adults

    Went walleye and white bass fishing, caught our limit of walleye within a hour and decided to try white bass We caught a white bass on every cast, it was crazy!!!

    Outstanding day fishing the Detroit river, limited out on walleye in one hour! He took us to another spot for white bass where we continued to catch one after another white bass. Great day!

    5 Hour Trip–Detroit Walleye Jigging • 2 adults

    Our experience could not have been any better. Captain Connor was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable of required methods and location of fish which allowed us to catch our limited.     1/2 day Walleye trip

    Trolling (multiple bodies)

    Had an excellent experience fishing with Connor on Dream Catcher Charters. From top notch equipment, boat, and overall multiple species knowledge. Went trolling for walleye, caught a 3 man limit (18)of dandy size walleye in a short period of time, along with small mouth bass and a bonus 20lb Muskie. Super nice helpful guy glad to help any beginner. Definitely has a passion for what he does and it shows.

Lake St. Clair is still producing an excellent quality of fish in good numbers. As with other bodies of water finding the fish first then working over the active ones is key. You never know what you're going to catch on the lake either we went 18 for 25 on walleye and landed a beautiful muskie and great small mouth on the 21st of march.

Overall Detroit river is slow still but we ares still early! Anglers will find isolated pockets of active fish here and there. 2nd week of April on is still looking like go time. As of Saturday 21 March 2020 upper river temperatures were 40 to 41 depending where you were. Both Lakes are still producing fish

Lake Erie gold!

Lake Erie is producing lots of quality fish trolling various baits. Our great producers have been Bandits and Salmo lures. Locations and depths have been varying as weather conditions change and as the fish move towards the river to stage up for spawning. Finding fish with your graph then working over active pods is the strategy to use this time of year.
