I’m one of those folks that does a ton of research before committing to a fishing guide, and Gordo backed up everything I read about him on this trip. We caught a ton of fish (more than what’s in the picture). His deckhand was very knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and all about us having a great time and catching fish. I would def recommend this charter to anyone who is die hard and loves to fish.

Disclaimer: Please remember It’s called fishing and not catching! We knew this going into the trip and would have had a blast had we caught fish or not! The Curaçao waters delivered today😎

We had an amazing time on the boat! The captain and crew were amazing to deal with. Super kid friendly and supportive. The teamwork between the captain and the crew is a show in and of itself! I would 100% use him again.

Subsequently we did have to cut the trip short 4 out of the 6 of us got sea sick so I called it early. The captain was very understanding and felt terrible but obviously not his fault.

Again so so so so so much fun.

My wife and I had a wonderful time. Gordo and mate Cornell were a joy to fish. We were shown dolphins and Portuguese man o’ war while fishing. Even though fishing was slow on our day, Cornell was constantly changing fishing tackle to improve our chances to catch more fish.
Sandwiches, chips, soft drink and very cold beer were provided.  We caught Wahoo and Mahi-Mahi.  We will definitely fish with Gordo again!!

I booked a private charter CD with Captain Gordo on Papucho IV during a cruise stop and had one of the best days ever. The captain has said we would try to catch my first billfish and we did. We missed a couple blue marlins that hit the teasers and a white marlin that spit the hook while Coronel the Nate tried setting it. We were very close to having 3 out of 7 species in none day.

Great trip! So glad we made it out here for it. Caught 16 with a nice 50-60 lb yellow fin. Highly recommend and when I’m back in the area will definitely book again.
