This is a very experienced captain with a quality first mate. This was an effortless trip with quick and easy full service fishing and instruction. I brought my 13 year old daughter and this was our second time ever on the ocean. We both had a blast and I will certainly plan a second trip. The most amazing part was the absolute wisdom and experience of the captain. Everything that he predicted would happen did happen, both when and where. He knows the best place to put the boat, for different fish, at the right time and tide throughout the day and he knows these fish inside and out. Easy limits on our trip. The first mate and captain were so on top of helping us fish, I got to focus almost completely on my daughter’s good time and our bonding this trip. All of the busy work is handled (baiting, tackle, fish handling, etc.) and their gear was perfect for the task. My daughter got to focus on fighting fish and reeling in fun.

We had a great half day trip with Captain Craig, and would highly recommend booking your next trip with Craig on Argo! It was my first time fishing, my husband has been on other fishing trips before and our 5.5 yo daughter had never been on a fishing boat before. Everyone had a great time: Caught several halibut and striped bass. Stayed in the Bay - great views of the city, Angel island, Alcatraz, etc etc. Instruction and equipment were great, and overall it was a great experience. Boat was nice size for our 6-person group and very comfortable. Would definitely book again!

Had a great time fishing in the Bay with Capt. Craig and his deckhand Jake. We were on the search for Halibut but came up a bit short. Capt Craig was great and pivoted to score us some stripers. While we were unable to catch limits for the boat, we all had a great time fishing. I was asked to set up another trip as soon as we made it back to land. All around a great time and would highly recommend Argo to fellow anglers.

We really enjoyed the trip which was ending our fishing year on Dec 31. Highly recommend Captain Craig as a very honest, helpful and hearty person, as well as fishing guide among many that I traveled with.
