Mal began fishing at a very young age with his Dad and Grandpa. Mal would fish at Carrum while his Grandpa collected boat launching fees. His dad would also take him to local creeks to catch bream and mullet. Mal's journeys has taken him up the coast where he lived in Merimbula where he started fishing from Eden to Tathra catching Marlin Tuna Sharks off the coast. I love fishing in Melbourne we have one of the best fisheries right here on our door step.

Mal and his crew (Zane) were fantastic—friendly, knowledgeable, and super helpful. Mal went above and beyond to make sure all the kids onboard were catching fish and having an amazing time. We even noticed several other boats following us around because they knew our boat was always in the right spot! Couldn’t have asked for a better day out on the water.

We had such a great experience with Mal! He was very knowledgeable and helpful! He did everything to help everyone onboard. Everyone caught fish on our trip and with only 6 people onboard lines were not getting tangled up. We would definitely recommend this charter!

absolutely loved cruising around western port bay with Mal picking up some snapper and flatheads. Mal is an awesome host who was very willing to help and teach to create an amazing fishing experience 10/10 recommend cant wait to come back
