Our family comes to Pompano beach every year for Spring Break and we always fo a fishing trip. Captain TJ is a great captain and worked very hard all day to put us on fish. Our group had a great day and were lucky enough to get six blackfin tuna, a dolphin, and a trophy wahoo! Captain Tyler was amazing. To start, he was super organized and communicated with us very well on the logistics of the trip beforehand. Once on board, he was so patient and positive with my kids (aged 11, 12 and 15) in helping them to set up the different gears and baits. It was a Beautiful morning for fishing however the fish just were not biting. We booked the sports fishing trip. My son whose birthday we were celebrating caught a Barracuda and that was it. no other bites. we asked to go to the reef so my grandson could possibly catch something. They then caught a few small grunts, and a Parrot fish. Wish we would have been told when we booked that the fish were not biting and maybe just do reef fishing. Overall, it was a successful trolling trip where we caught multiple species. The captain had a great attitude and made the day enjoyable for everyone — from the two kids fishing for the first time to the two experienced veterans in our group.
