My name is Capt. Tim Garrett, the owner operator of the Waterproof. I have been fishing off the coast of the Daytona Beach area for 35 years. My love for deep sea fishing began as a child vacationing in Daytona Beach with my family. Soon after moving here from Ohio, I worked as a first mate during the summers and commercial fished in the winter. In 1986, I purchased the Waterproof a custom built Number 1 charter boat. I have been truly blessed to fish each day and share fishing memories/stories amongst friends. I look forward to fishing with our customers and having a great day of fishing on the water.

Captain Tim and Mate Cody were exceptional hosts on our fishing trip. Weather was dicey but the crew and the 40 footer made it a great time. Everyone caught fish. We are planning our next trip already. Highly recommended.

We booked and Captain Tim and his mate Cody are good folks. We had the best time with them and he put us on he fish. Great trip for firat time anglers and seasoned angler looking for a chill but great time. We will definitely be fishing with Waterproof again.
