We fished on the Scotty J for the second time this year, it was a blast. We left with enough grouper and snapper to feed our vacation party of 12, with leftovers. Captain Rich will definitely get you on some good fish. Bring some ibuprofen, you will need it after reeling in fish ALL DAY.

Captain Rich is a great relatable guy who understands you’ve invested a lot to bring your family out fishing and hoping you chose the right charter to meet your expectations. Capt Rich and his first mate Scotty well exceeded our expectations with the communication prior and day of, the condition of the boat (clean, well maintained and plenty of power for the gulf… 600hp!), and their attentiveness throughout. They kept us laughing the entire time and had a great skill at keeping everyone involved and active (even my teenagers). There was no pressure, no rush, and plenty of great fishing. We caught so many fish, so many varieties as well as a couple of sharks at the end which made for the perfect trip. I would recommend them to all of my family members and friends with confidence it would make their top fishing trips as well. Thank you Capt Rich and Scotty for such a memorable 8hr offshore fishing trip!!!

I told Rich that I’ve never caught a big fish before, today I caught 175 pounds 6 ft sand shark and other good eating fish . He was knowledgeable & I will recommend him to friends

Had a great day on the water. Capt and crew showed up right on time. Gave us the run down of expectations and we were off up to 50 miles out. Caught our far share of keepers between the 4 of us that went.
Capt was also well aware of surroundings, weather and making the trip as pleasurable and comfortable as possible.

We caught multiple species.(Snapper, vermillion, grouper, lizard fish.) It was a good day. Captain Rich was very helpful and accommodating.
