- Background
- I have been fishing Lake Ontario all my life. I started fishing for Smallmouth Bass. Then with the stocking of the Salmon and Trout I gave it a try. I found out that there were many big trophy fish to be caught on Lake Ontario. I caught my limit of fish on a daily basis. People would see the success I had when I got back to the dock. They kept asking me if I was a charter captain. That's when I decided to get my USCG LICENSE in 1988 and started my own business. Now I enjoy watching my clients catching the fish and having fun doing it.
- Techniques
- We fish with downriggers and planner boards along with dipsey divers and run copper wire with echips and flashers with tackle behind them.We are trolling slow to cover more area to catch the big fish.
