My wife and I had a spectacular day on our trip with the Osprey Sportfishing crew.  Captain Don welcomed us aboard the and first mate, Camden showed us the ropes. We started off trolling for live bait for tuna.  The skipper put us on fish right away.  We caught several stripers and the targeted bluefish we wanted to set up shop for the Big One! Nice work, Don!
Camden never stopped moving as he continually changed rigs and set up different rods when needed. We have never seen a more hard working and organized mate on any charters we have done over the years.  Thanks, Cam!
Though we didn’t get on any tuna this day it was still a great trip with great weather and calm seas. We got a bonus at the end of the trip when we decided to get closer to shore and try for some dinner.  We managed catching several more stripers including 2 nice keepers for the dinner table.

ABOUT THE BOOKING METHOD: We chartered the fishing trip through fishingbooker.com.  I was a little skeptical about the trip because we never were able to actually speak to the captain.  We only communicated through email.  I think it would be a great feature to allow a contact phone to be released once the deposit is made; much like vrbo/airbnb.

I took my adult children (son, daughter and daughter’s BF) for a half-day trip with Captain Don and had a great time.  BF’s first fishing experience and he caught a keeper right away.  In all we caught over 20 stripers, including a couple big ones we kept.  The boat was very comfortable and Captain Don was very helpful - he adjusted our start to Suisset Harbor to accommodate our schedule.  Nate (the mate) helped us with the gear and the fishing, and cleaned the fish afterward leaving us ready to throw the fish onto the BBQ!  Great day and fantastic memories.

We had fish hitting all day.  Only a couple of keepers most too small a couple too big. But everyone on the trip was in double digits. Great captain and the mate Nate was excellent too. I will absolutely go again.

A little rocky start with the weather but that didn’t stop the fish from biting. Captain Don put us on fish and these were big bluefish. Weather cleared and the rest of trip was perfect. Thank you Captain Don and crew for a great day.
