Captain
Jarred Bolduc

Member since March 2025 Barnstable, United States
Background
Captain Jarred Bolduc is a 3rd Generation Captain on Cape Cod Bay. He gained most of his experience aboard his Grandfather’s (Capt Bob Bolduc) charter boat Annie B, who was also out of Barnstable and Dennis throughout his career. Starting at a ripe age of 8 years old, Captain Jarred learned the ins and the outs of the trade from his Grandfather, with the help of many other charter Captains and Mates in the bay. Captain Bob’s successors were Captain Mike (uncle) and Captain Rick (father). Shortly after that the Annie B had to be retired due to many weathered days. At this point Jarred took his First Mate skills to a few other well known charters who were close friends with his grandfather. Jarred earned his Captains license in 2021 through New England Maratime and was mentored by Captain Bob Joyce aboard this same boat formally known as TiggerToo. For the future, Capt Jarred plans on carrying out the family tradition bringing smiles and good times to your charter. His sons Wesley and Declan are already learning the knots and tips of the trade in plans to be the successor of their family’s legacy on Cape Cod Bay.
Techniques
We like to tube and worm or jig for Striped Bass. The bluefish love the hoochies and swimmers along with the bass and bonita as well. Flounder like the good traditional double baited rig held by a 2-6oz weight on the bottom. Black Sea Bass love the squid jigs. Tuna fish like the live lining mackerel, pogies, bluefish and also trolling squid rigs or something as simple as a sluggo on a spin rod. Sharks are always into mackerel, eels and bluefish fillets supported by a wake from a homemade shark slick bucket made by Capt Jarred himself. Mackerel are fun on the sabiki rigs. Pogies are usually caught by cast net or snagged with a treble hook.
