- Background
- I learned how to fish predominantly from my grandfather and my uncle here in Galveston Bay. Then, I continued to learn from them on Lake Livingston. I have always had a great love for fishing and the outdoors. On my father's side of the family, I am from 19 generations of commercial fishermen originating from the Isle of Vis in Croatia. My father passed when I was very young and without his influence, I studied graphic design and business. Eventually found my way on my own back to fishing. For the past 8 years I have never been happier than being a charter fishing guide. I really enjoy learning more each day and teaching others techniques, and I love spending time working with children on their fishing techniques and help to build their character.
- Techniques
- Catching Trout, Redfish and Flounder is my bread and butter. I Like to throw artificial baits and free line live bait for inshore species. Depending on the conditions in the Western Gulf of Mexico, I prefer to fish offshore and catch various species including, Snapper, Cobia, Wahoo, Dorado, Grouper, Triple Tail, Kingfish, Sharks and many other species. Though since the conditions are not always perfect offshore, I do fish inshore most days. Just putting customers on fish and making memories keeps a smile on my face!
