Captain Mike got us on some fish!  I booked thia charter with my buddy and his son (my Godson).  Boat was very clean and ran well.  Plenty of room for us.  Good rods and plenty of live bait.  The Captain was super knowledgable and new all the good spots.  We caught a ton of re drum and kept our limit.  Caught some monster flounder as well but they were not in season.  Also caught some black drum.  We kept the red drum and Captain Mike cleaned them for us.  We cooked them that night and... We were looking for a nice day on the water, without rough waters, but still wanted to catch some clean and delicious fish. This was the perfect trip - the captain knew where to go and we got 3 days worth of dinner of red fish. The mornings are the best - we went out a little before 7 am, also to beat the heat. If you want a nice, no stress, calm fishing trip, this is it!

Captain Mike took our party of 2 on a fun and fish-filled trip! He was excellent at communicating with us before and during the trip, ensuring that we had the best experience possible. We caught multiple red drum, because Mike knew exactly where the fish were sitting. Mike was knowledgeable, trustworthy and great to talk to. I would absolutely recommend to book with him.

Didn’t catch any fish but it wasn’t for a lack of effort. Mike took us to many spots trying to put me on fish to no avail. Weather started out absolutely beautiful and ended with a hard north wind. Mike was on time at the dock, his boat was clean and his equipment was top notch. Mike is very knowledgeable of the North Topsail area. I highly recommend Captain Mike and will be booking another trip with him soon hoping for better luck.
