Had a great time. Our first mate Christian was fantastic…he baited our lines for us and patiently taught us what to do. A couple of things to know however. We weren’t aware that for our six hour tour, we would be traveling two hours out and two hours back, leaving only two hours for actual fishing. Further, we took the afternoon tour that was scheduled for 11:30 am. The boat got back from its morning tour at at 11:30 sharp, but by the time it got ready for our tour, it was nearly 11:50, and we returned by 5:30pm sharp, so we lost nearly 20 minutes. Our group of six caught 17 fish, only three of which had any significant size. We lost many fish to sharks, and hooked six sharks, of which we landed none. It looked like the early boat caught a lot more than us. Definitely a factor for how we’ll do it next time.

Had lots of fun, but it was quite pricey…it cost us $1650 for six people, and an additional (well deserved) 20% tip for Christian.

We booked our 6 hour fishing trip with Knot Right Charters in Panama City Beach. The crew greeted us and introductions were made. The trip out to the area about 15 miles off the coast was lengthy but built the anticipation of fishing. It was literally as fast as the bait hit the bottom (96-100Ft), your reeling up fishing, usually single, often times doubles. I fish a lot in the Midwest and thought I was ready, I tell you I was not ready. You’ll be exhausted after the first 6 drops to the bottom. Our family of 10 had an absolute blast even with our 72 year old mom who wouldn’t give up. Prepare to have a lot of fun and it goes fast. Thanks to our guides Jesse and Clint, they were awesome!!

Captain Stephen moved us if we stopped catching fish right away so we didn’t waste our time. Christian worked so hard to make sure that we kept bait on our hooks and helped us if we had any problems. We had six people fishing so he was really moving fast to help us all. We really enjoyed hanging out with him! The air conditioned kitchen and bunks were great! We had one disabled person and having a cool place to sit down made it a possibility for them to go out fishing with us.  We were able to rest and cool off and that kept us all from getting sick. The bathroom was also a huge plus! We will definitely be booking them again next time we are back in Panama City Beach!

I recently went on an unforgettable deep sea fishing trip, and it was absolutely awesome. Captain Steve and Christian were incredible — they truly made the experience one to remember. From start to finish, everything was top-notch. The crew was knowledgeable, professional, and fun to be around. They knew exactly where to go to find the fish, and we caught plenty!

Absolutely incredible deep sea fishing experience with Knot Right Charters! From start to finish, the crew was professional, knowledgeable, and made sure everyone had a great time. We hit a bit of rain early on, but it didn’t slow us down one bit—in fact, it added to the adventure. The boat was well-equipped and comfortable. The captain knew exactly where to go, and the deckhand was on top of everything.
