I starting writing this review with my 8 year old son and he began filling in.  That is the subject. If you’re relatively inexperienced with children I couldn’t recommend Captain Doug enough. He’s polite, extremely patient and talented. Captain Doug and his Jewel of the Sea gave us all we could hope for during our 4 hour charter. His passion and knowledge of fishing put us right on fish immediately. He kept our hooks baited and showed us 4 productive spots. We brought home a mess of fillets ready for some breading.

Fantastic day on the water.  Doug was awesome!! Even though we didn’t have young kids with us he was the kind of captain I would want if we did.  His demeanor would have been great for younger kids.  We will book with him again.  Ended up being a windy day and conditions weren’t ideal but he kept us on fish all day.  Can’t wait to fish a better day with him and see what he can get us on.

Captain Doug was amazing! He took our family of 4 out for the morning and taught our boys the ropes for their first time salt water fishing. He was extremely patient and knowledgeable. Would love to go again!
