Great day.  The weather was odd and the lake was stirred-up a bit slowing down the bite.  We started out targeting Browns, and though the fish weren’t enthusiastic, Capt. Ryan was able to help us get one on the boat.  We then went to chase Kings.  They were not cooperating, but again, Captain Ryan was persistent. He put us on the fish, worked hard to figure out what was going to work to get them to hit, and with his persistence, we put two on deck.  The third fish was a 20+ pounder and came in the last minute minutes of the charter.  Capt. Ryan didn’t want to close down without “just one more” run.  His enthusiasm and persistence paid off and we ended on a triumphant high note with a great fish in the boat.
I should mention that the captain’s mate took sick that morning and, so, Capt. Ryan was single-handing the charter.  He worked hard for us, changing setup/programs frequent and keeping spirits light and hopeful.

Ryan was an absolute delight he was welcoming and warm and after about 5 minutes it felt like we were all old friends I highly recommend using his charter services he knows how to get you on the fish and will do anything to keep you on them we had a fair yield for our time on the boat and are preparing to book again soon I absolutely loved this trip !

We had a fantastic time. Captain Ryan and his first Mate Jason worked hard to make sure we had a successful trip. And we did. So much King Salmon and Steelhead we even chose to put some back. They made us feel comfortable, they we’re always in contact with other boats to see where the action was. (However, it seemed we were where the action was.) Great time. Already looking forward to booking next summer. Our 14 and 18 year old sons who love to fish said “Now, that was some real fishing”. Thank you for helping us make a great memory this summer before our oldest goes off to college.
