I am an avid angler and outdoorsman. I have been fishing for smallmouth bass most of my life, plying the best rivers in Southwestern Virginia, Southern West Virginia, Eastern Tennessee and North Carolina. In 2013 , I was able to fulfill my life-long dream of starting my own charter company and introducing clients and friends to numerous opportunities the waters of the Southern Appalachian's can offer. I am a strong advocate of catch-and-release, and we constantly strive to protect and preserve the fisheries that we are so fortunate to have in this region.

    Fabulous fishing experience on the river!

    Full Day Trip • 2 adults

    My son and I had a terrific trip with Captain Tommy! We had never done a trip on a river before and will definitely do it again. Captain Tommy got us set up and we caught a bunch of smallmouth bass literally over 20 fish on a beautiful sunny, high barometric pressure day, which as most people know is not ideal for catching fish. He he gave us a number of practical tips, he knew the new River like the back of his hand, andset everything up very well. Lunch was included and the Captain did a nice job with that as well. All in all he helped us us make some great memories out on the water! I would recommend this trip to people new to fishing as well as the advanced angler and really anyone who loves the great outdoors and fishing!

    Had a great time fishing on the river. Tommy was awesome and put us on the fish immediately. Helped me with my lure technique and understanding the river. Caught tons of fish, great scenery, floating down the river was a blast.

    We had a beautiful, great morning fishing with Tommy! The area is beautiful, the weather was perfect, Tommy is very personable and we saw many fish (the water was that clear) and did catch some Smallmouth Bass.

    Highly recommend. I caught a 17.5 inch smallmouth bass. My wife and I caught about 15 other nice small mouth bass as well. Lunch was delicious, cold cut sandwiches, salad, potato salad and chips. Guide is very friendly and knowledgeable.

    We started the day with a beautiful view of the mountains covered with fog. We started fishing right away. My son caught the first fish and that made his day. On and on we all caught fish not as many as we wanted but the bites were there. The water clear and Tommy was the nicest and patient guide for my autistic son. I will definitely use his services again.
