We had a fantastic day on the water with Capt. Brian! Conditions weren’t ideal, but he never gave up—he worked hard to put us on fish, and it paid off. While other boats came back empty, we went home with fish in the cooler. His professionalism and knowledge of the area really stood out. Our group of 3 went fishing with Captain Brian recently, including 2 beginners who had never been fishing on a boat before. Capt. Brian was patient, knowledgeable, and provided a great trip. He is also conservation-minded, which we appreciated (for example, releasing fish that nobody was going to eat, like a kingfish we caught).

The boat was clean and spacious. We had plenty of room for our group, but larger groups would also fit well. Many other charters I looked at had smaller boats with low sides that wouldn’t be able to accommodate more than 4 anglers comfortably. Capt. Brian’s vessel is perfect for kids and people who may not have much experience on boats, which was important to us for both safety and comfort. Speaking of safety, Capt. Brian kept us safe when an unexpected storm rolled in, expertly navigating us away from the storm. Though we had to cut the trip a little short because the weather conditions deteriorated too much, we had an awesome trip and we all caught fish. Everyone got to take a redfish home for dinner. The Fisherman’s Wharf also provides fish cleaning services right at the dock, which was super convenient. Would definitely recommend booking with Capt. Brian!

Captain Brian was a tireless, knowledgeable, and personable guide who made our trip unforgettable! Even when the bite was slow, he never stopped working — constantly making adjustments until we were onto giant fish. The trip ended with all four of us hooking into bull reds within five minutes — what an absolute blast! Big North wind but Brian knew where to go to find the fish. Had limit of red fish and black drum so headed back to the dock. We delayed start until 8 am and where back to the dock at 11 am. My choice to cut the trip short due to weather.

The conditions were not perfect. Windy and choppy. However Captain Brian got us on fish. We slammed a bunch of reds. We brought a group of teenager boys. Our captain made them feel safe and kept us energised for the entire trip. The boat was big enough and strurdy with a high hull so walking around the console fighting fish was seamless.
