- Ever since he was 8 years old, Captain Matt has had a fishing rod in his hand. Farm ponds, gravel pits, streams, rivers, lakes and oceans, it doesn't matter, the captain has fished them all. Captain Matt was born on the shores of Lake Erie and has lived on and around the Great Lakes his entire life. His passion has been validated by friends, family, and clients. He loves to teach people how to catch fish and he earned his captain's license in 2017.

- Captain Matt's preferred style of fishing is to follow the seasons and the fish. He likes to fly fish for Trout in Pennsylvania, Colorado and Montana, cast, bottom bounce, and troll for Walleye in the summer, jig for Yellow Perch in the fall, and chase Steelhead on the rivers in the winter. On occasion, the captain will sprinkle in a Bass, Pike, or Musky trip. He also likes to deep sea and bridge fish in the Florida Keys.
