Catfish and crappie are on fire at lake

Monday we had 270 fish 150 catfish and 120 crappie, on Tuesday we caught 150 catfish and 93 crappie, that was 6 ppl full day then on Wednesday we caught 50 channels and 17 crappie on a half day 2 people trip .

Captain Russell reached out prior to the trip to get a feel for what would be fun for the wife and I. He typically gets people that just want to catch crappie using a live scope. I mentioned to him that we would enjoy both fishing at the same time and he did an excellent job catering to what we wanted. He brought live bait which allowed us to fish at the same time and have a more interactive experience. We were able to catch bass and crappie and have a more fun.

I had an awesome trip with Devin and his wife we had fun catching all different species Stephanie even caught a Grinnell or bowfin and a few bass they are a great couple

I had a great time with Dane he is an awesome fisherman and picked up livescope fast he caught several crappie we finished with 24 we would have had 25 but the guide threw a nice crappie back in the lake putting it in the live well. It was a fun trip.

This was a very good fishing trip. I have one son that is 23 and one that is 9. Russell was good with both of them. I recommend this trip to all experience levels. Very good trip and we left with plenty of fish.
