After I booked, I had several questions and Travis was helpful, responsive and friendly while addressing them. Day of - I could tell he had a lot of knowledge about the area, and I very much appreciated that he was willing to cater the day to what we need/want and ensure we had the best experience possible. Whether you are a beginner, or an avid fisher - he will adjust to you. I genuinely felt that he went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. Not to mention, we caught a bunch of fish!

Travis worked hard to put us on fish. He had the bait on board when we arrived. We were catching fish within a few minutes of leaving the dock. Travis has worked most of his life on the water and knows the Jacksonville Fl waterways very well.  He grew up fishing the St Johns. He kept the baits fresh and moved frequently to find spots. We had some
serious wind to contend with and a storm system but still had a great time. Highly recommend.

It was a frigid day in Florida. It was 28 degrees when we went out but our captain Travis Wilson was a pro. He took us out and got us a keeper redfish almost instantly. We caught a few more redfish and one nice 25 inch red that was just the perfect keeper. After the first hour or so we had caught around 8 redfish and 2 keepers. Throughout the trip we ended up catching many other fish including a couple of trout that we could also keep. To round off the trip we smashed redfish after redfish for the last hour. We ended up with a redfish a piece that we could keep and a couple of trout. We even had a surprise catch a snook on our trip. Travis absolutely crushed this trip. Despite the freezing weather his knowledge and dedication put fish after fish on the boat and his pleasant personality only made the trip that much better. By the end of the trip we met a friend and learned a lot about fishing for redfish along the way.

River City Charters was amazing. Four of us went out a day before Thanksgiving and had a great time.

During the whole trip, Captain Travis was attentive, willing to help and teach (if needed) and put us on a lot of red fish! He was already at the dock when we arrived, and got us back right on time, and overall was an excellent Captain.
