- Background
- Captain Daniel is a lifelong angler and all around outdoorsman. He developed a passion for saltwater fishing at an early age and it soon engulfed him. He studied engineering at the University of Alabama and soon after graduation realized it was not the life for him. He had only one desire, chasing fish on the reefs, bays, and flats all along the Florida Panhandle. When he travels it is typically for one reason and that is fishing. He has fished the entire Gulf of Mexico from Tuna on the oil rigs to tailing Redfish in tidal creeks. He has also fished from Islamorada to Key West chasing Tarpon as well as Outer islands of the Bahamas for Bonefish, and Costa Rica and Mexico for giant Mahi and Marlin.
- Techniques
- Fishing with Panhandle Adventures brings you a professional and courteous guide and a well-maintained and comfortable boat for "Fishing Charter". Clients will get a free Florida fishing license, quality gear, and all the necessary lures and bait for “Dolphin & Island Tour”. You'll also be provided with a mask and snorkeling gear (all snorkeling gear is properly sanitized before each use), a cooler, ice, as well as drinks and snacks. You should bring drinks and snacks, polarized sunglasses (the best way to see what’s in the water), sunscreen (don't bring oil, aerosol, tanning, or zinc screens), and a towel rain jacket. Don't bring any bananas as they are bad luck for fishing boats! You should wear water shoes or “fast dry” boat shoes (they will eventually get wet). All the shoes must be non-marking. Fishing clients should wear clothing they don’t mind getting stained with fish. Please bring a ball cap or hat, and don't wear jean pants or shorts as the dye stains boat upholstery.
