Captain Nick was born and raised in Collier county and has fished these waters since he was a young boy. He is an enthusiastic angler and enjoys every aspect of light tackle backwater fishing, using both live and artificial bait. Nick's vast knowledge about the waters in and around Southwest Florida, along with a lifelong dream of becoming a captain, have led him to start his own charter company. Captain Nick loves everything outdoors, from hunting and fishing to air-boating. When he is not managing a painting contracting company in SW Florida, Nick can be found guiding his clients and friends through and putting them on fish. His most important role is being a loving and devoted husband and father.

4 Hour Trip • 3 adults • 1 childMy wife and 7 year-old son and I went on a half-day trip with Captain Nick and had an absolute blast! Captain Nick was absolutely incredible with our 7 year old--he had our son catching fish almost immediately, and 3 days later he is still telling everyone how many fish he caught. Easily the highlight of our trip to Marco Island! My wife and I had a great time too--and caught fish ourselves. I will be booking Nick next time we are in the area for sure. Whether with kids or not, Nick is an awesome guide and made sure we had a fantastic time. If you have any question at all about whether to book Captain Nick, don't hesitate, book him right away!

4 Hour Trip • 2 adultsOne half day fishing charter out of Marco Island was fantastic with Capt. Nick Beres !! Capt Nick took us to the backwater fishing holes with crannies & nooks he felt were prime for catching some fish. We started out by saying to him, we were just interested in "catch & release" today....no cleaning, or slicing & dicing anything !! Maybe on the next trip, which will surely happen soon......the only suggestion I could make is "get a bigger boat" !! But, of course, I'll leave that to him.......

4 Hour Trip • 4 adultsCaptain Nick is great--professional, helpful, friendly, ready to engage with his clients. We fished three different spots during our half-day with him and caught fish at all three spots. We walked away with about four pounds of cleaned fish and grilled them the same night. They were delicious. High marks for Captain Nick from all four of us!
