    absolutely great host and boat!!!

    Ended up sending my daughter (w/her friends), and my grandson. the abaolutely love it. CPT Brian and 1st Mate Emmit are both very experienced and professional. they kept my crew on the fish all morning (5 hour trip). Treated my first time anglers with kids’ gloves. Everyone caught fish and learned a lot. This is now my “Go To” boat in this area for sure.

    Amazing Time

    Three Quarter Day Troll or Bottom • 3 adults

    We had a great time with Beaufort Charters. The Captain put us on the fish. The boat was great for an offshore fishing day. It provided comfortability and has a bathroom. haha. The mate was the final touch. Great conversation and he was on top of it the whole time. He kept us in the water and made the entire trip very convenient and fun for us. They are a true 5 star fishing charter. Highly recommend.

    Brian and Emmit did not disappoint! They put us on fish within 5 minutes of being in the inlet and caught fish all the way back to the marina! Emmit worked so hard to make sure everyone had a great time! 10/10 recommend and will definitely be back to catch more lines with these guys!

    Amazing experience!

    The crew was amazing. We had such a great time. We caught a lot of fish and just being on the boat for the day was beautiful. We also saw egret, osprey, dolphins, wild horses a sting ray and gulls. It was a beautiful wildlife adventure. Thank you! If we come back we will do it again!

Spanish are snapping

We spent a very enjoyable afternoon yesterday trolling with a couple of enthusiastic youngsters and their mentors. The Spanish were snapping; lots of small albies, some blues, and about a dozen undersize kings were boated. The hot water (82 degrees) hasn’t slowed down the bite. At the cleaning table, lots of the conversation centered on how to cook the Spanish. It seems there are nearly as many ways as Bubba Gump has to cook shrimp. Fresh fillets on the grill, smoked, or in Cap’n Dan’s fish chowder are my favorites.

Outstanding fishing off Beaufort NC

From Spanish to Mahi to bottom fish, everything out there is turned on and hungry. The last 2 days, we had a group of Lake Erie walleye fishermen with us, and they had a blast. Sunday we trolled up a load of gaffer dolphin and like most offshore trolling, there was plenty of time between strikes and turns in the fighting chair for the party to relax and tell tall fish tales. Monday was a different kind of day as we bottom fished but were interrupted on several occasions by schools of Mahi cruising by to see what we were up to. When that happens, you just can't let them visit and leave without inviting them for "dinner." The party had a great time sight-casting on light tackle into that beautiful blue water and watching the show once they got one hooked up. The two days went by too quickly, but we look forward to having them on board again next year.
