Shaggy was an outstanding deckhand and first mate—friendly, knowledgeable, and full of great stories about fishing and the history of Beaufort. Our sons, dad and a friend dove into this trip with enthusiasm and high expectations. All were met! The Captain and mate took great care of us. A perfect morning weather excursion followed by amazing fishing! In total our coolers was full from the 51 fish caught. Special thanks to mate ‘Shagie’ for filleting the fish with ease and expertise! Captain Brian and his mate Emmet know where the fish are at! Not only were they super knowledgeable and professional, they made sure we had fun! Emmet made sure we always had 6 lines going and Captain Brian made sure we were in fish filled waters! We had great conversations and a great experience! 10 out of 10- highly recommended these guys!

Captain Brian was flexible with us, we were able to reschedule due to inclement weather. Mate Emmet was a great person to talk to and fish with , they both have a deep passion for the industry and we caught a good amount of Spanish mackerel to take back home.
