Booked for a Walleye trip for 2 dads and 3 older kids, but as the walleye weren’t biting, went for perch instead. Easy as can be, all we needed is our cooler for drinks and snacks, our cooler for fish, and they supplied the rest. Was a little bit of a learning curve on catching the perch with his technique but he put us where the fish were and caught a bunch. He let us be as hands on or hands off as we liked. Don’t let his age fool you, he’s an experienced captain with a passion for it. Had a great time. We will certainly book with him the next time we need to charter and looking forward to it. We had rain off and on, but that didn’t affect the fishing!
Capt. Rizzo took us all the way out to where the fish were and it was worth it. We had 5 guys and we all limited out on walleye! Thanks Chelsea Charters for a trip we will remember for a long time!

We had a great trip. Despite the 6-8ft waves, the captain got on some fish, and everyone took home a couple walleye and some perch.

Everything was excellent. Capt. Thad and crew went above and beyond to make sure that our trip was successful and enjoyable.

The day was great, the crew was very talented and fun. Easily caught our limit and was able to eat the fish for dinner at the Crows Nest afterwards.
