В этом году первый раз за 5 лет пребывания в Будве (Черногория) решили с семьей попробовать морскую рыбалку. В качестве капитана система порекомендовала Зорана и его катер Predator. Так как младшему участнику рыбалки было 8 лет, то решили начать опыт с недалекой прибрежной рыбалки.

Что понравилось и что важно, как оказалось:

1. Капитан рекомендовал стартовать в 7:00 - факт, решение верное по ряду причин: а) не так жарко и можно насладиться погодой на море; б) с утра клев был реально лучше; в) народу было в море гораздо меньше.

2. Катер был выбран оптимальный - и не яхта, но при этом с достаточным размером, чтобы его не швыряло на каждой волне, с достаточной площадью для тени и размаха наших рыбаков-профессионалов )))))

3. Капитан. Во-первых, свободно говорит по английски и весьма сносно по-русски. Понимали друг друга без проблем. Во-вторых, четко знает, где будет улов + 2 эхолота позволяют прямо таки торпедировать стаи рыбы нашими незамысловатыми снастями.

4. Время рыбалки и протяженность. Реально, могу посоветовать не отсыпаться, а начинать даже в 6:00 - гораздо комфортнее и плодотворнее. По времени 4-5 часов достаточно, чтобы и пополнить копилку рыбы и подустать (глубина все же 80-120 метров - таскать снасть приходится немало).

5. Удобства. Ну помимо предусмотренных на катере сидячих мест, каюты и аквариума для наживок и приманок, капитан берет с собой полный холодильник ледяных напитков и совершенно не излишний набор сендивчей. Продукты местные, вкусные.

6. КТо ловится.
Нам посчастливилось поймать скумбрию, морского окуня, пару рифовых “золотых рыбок”, ну и сардину. Все это клевало активно и без перебоя. Чуть ближе к концу рыбалки попробовали все троллинг на рыбу-меч или тунца, но (ожидаемо) без результата - все же и место и рыбалка были запланированы под другой вид рыбы.

7. ЧТо делать с рыбой?
Этот вопрос всегда возникает у любителей рыбной ловли. Тут весь улов отдают Вам на съедение. Плюс, капитан тут же может порекомендовать и даже отвести Вас в ресторанчик, где за 5 евро на человека, но не более 20 евро на коллектив всю вашу рыбу приготовят - либо сделают карпаччо из скумбрии, либо приготовят Ваш улов на гриле.

В итоге у всех море позитива и хороший обед !!!!

Full day fishing at the offshore with Zoran at Predator Budva

Trip review
11.7.2017, Budva, Weather: +38, white sea, minor wind

The day started at 9 am, from the marina of Budva. Captain was there with the foods and beverages right on time, and the boat left from the marina exactly on time. We started the day by getting some live baits (cuttlefish) from local fisher man.
Captain offered us the welcome drinks and we headed to offshore to catch some mackerels. Mackerels got caught from mid-water (depth was about 80m).  After we got about a dozen (like in 10 mins!) we headed to the deeper waters.

After about one hour travel to the deeper seas (we were trolleying while moving) we got into fishing grounds and were able to try to get our first target fish: Dentex. The depth of the waters was around 100m now, and we hooked up the live baits. Captain told us that we have only one chance to get Dentex hooked, if we fail, the school of fish would run away and the spot will be ruined for the day. On the second cast, we already got something hooked!  Obviously, our northern fishing techniques didn’t suit this deep waters and we failed to boat our first fish. We used “pump reeling”, which is used on bigger fish here, and on that deep, it just caused the hook fell off from fish. So, don’t do that!

We changed a spot and about 15 min of travel time, we got into a second spot. The depth of water was t around 111 meters there, and on the first casts, we got the double strike (I got a fish and my dad got a fish hooked)! I thought my fish was a really big one, and it felt really heavy. It was only a 1kg dentex, but the weight we used there made it feel much much bigger. HOw ever, my father got a real giant, 120 cm Conger Eel. The eel was a real fighter and gave us really good time when fighting it.

At this point, we didn’t get anything else from that point. We changed a location and got few other Mediterranea -fish, but no dentex. Captain thought that the day has been a really bad for fishing and asked if we would have time for few more tries, as according to him, he wasn’t happy with our catch of the day! Of course, we had (at this point, we had used all that 6 hours which was on the deal). Captain get us for few other spots and we finally got couple nice Dentex (biggest one was 2.5-3kg). At that point we were exhausted but really happy.

We arrived to back to Marina around at 5 pm, instead of 3 pm.
We were able to choose the fish we would like to eat at a local restaurant ( “Feral” ), where the cooks prepared our fish and made us a really great meal from them for a ridiculously low price of 5€ / person. We ate the mackerel, eel and the dentex. They were delicious.
Great ending for a really great day at the sea with the Captain Zoran.

Amazing Action-packed Day!

This was the first time ever I had been on the boat fishing, and even though my stomach didn’t want to cooperate, so it took me a while to get used to the wavy ambience, I enjoyed every bit of the day from the cruising with my crew and fishing with the captain to the snorkeling near lovely beach.

We got a cordial welcome with homemade drinks and headed towards marina where the Predator was. When aboard, we were further greeted with snacks and refreshment. Captain Zoran did his best to provide us with the great fisheries, and we caught the fish every time we changed the spot the captain chose. I have managed to pull Dentex out of water with Zoran’s instructions and help, and a few smaller Mackerels :) woohoo

On the way back, we stopped by the secluded beach to relax, snorkel and swim before we had our catch prepared for us for dinner :) We spent the evening bragging about our newly acquired fishing experience and listening to Zoran’s amazing stories.

All in all, I had a whale of a time :)

I went to the fishing with my friends and we had a FANTASTIC time! The boat is super fast and there was enough room for 5 of us, Captain Zoran was helpful and knew all good places where fish is, he even brought drinks and snacks for us and we caught a lot of fish (as far as I remember 6 dentexes, around 10+ mackarels, 1 tasteful scorpion fish which one of the Budva’s restaurants gladly prepared for us, and some other fish I didn’t remember the names.

First Offshore fishing adventure

This was my first time ever going on a fishing trip. I really couldn’t ask for a better and experienced captain. Zoran made everything looks easy. Second time going out with Captain Zoran. Great experience. We were told in advance what we would target and made arrangements with the captain how the trip would go. Boat was clean and captain greeted us with cooler full of beer, soft drinks and water. Tasty sandwiches and fruit provided onboard as well.

We caught a few good sized pargo and a huge scorpionfish. After the trip, Zoran called a local restaurant to have the fish prepared straight out of the boat for a complete experience.

Can’t wait to go amberjack hunting with Zoran this January!

Hi guys! If you want an amazing deep sea fishing experience look no further! We had a fantastic day with Captain Zoran. The sea was actually a bit choppy so we couldnt go far offshore to the really deep water but 5km ( depth 105 m) was just far enough to catch some nice fish including a few nice Dentex (biggest around 4kg) and couple of mackerel and more species I still dont know… :) We also tried for Tuna and Swordfish but were unlucky with these biggies. Maybe next time… We ended up in a gorgeous hidden white sand beach where we spent more than an hour snorkeling and relaxing. What a beach! Do not miss to visit!;)  The captain looked after us very very well to make it unforgettable. Food and drinks on board were great even before we left the marina we had breakfast and coffee together so we had a great chat to start up the day. Zoran has fluent english and he is also a great character and knows what he is doing. Catch is 100% guaranteed so he wont let you down! All you need to do is to enjoy and have fun! 5 Star! No doubt!

Fished with Capt. Zoran late July. It was great Sunday morning. We started the trip somewhere between 8:15 and 8:30. Captain Zoran took some bait for our bottom fishing trip where we were targeting Mackerel and Dentex. Immediately after we left marina, Zoran put us on fish and kept us busy for the next 4 hours.

It was a beautiful day out! 5 of us were on board, having fun and catching fish.

We’ve spent about 4 hours fishing and 2 hours site seeing and swimming. Captain even brought us to his beach where we’ve spent some quality time, resting from the strong sun and enjoying the fresh juice.

Zoran was treating us just like in 5 star hotel, making sure that we feel comfortable, but mostly that we are catching fish. We ended up with around 30 mackerel and few Dentex.

Before we came back Zoran called a restaurant to arrange everything for us and they cooked the fish for 20 euros (for 5 of us). We had a great time and will be back in May 2016 for some Tuna Fishing.

We highly recommend Zoran and Predator Budva!

We were three inexperienced fishermen who decided to go sea fishing just for fun. Zoran, our captain and a true professional, made our adventure incredibly thrilling. He was able to locate good spots for bottom fishing where we caught much nice and sometimes funny fish (the names we don’t remember :)) We took some catch with us and had a perfect fish dinner later. We would definitely recommend Zoran for good fishing!
