- Captain Cody was born on the Texas Gulf Coast and has been fishing since he was able to hold a rod and reel. His grandfather passed down a lot of knowledge and secrets that have made Captain Cody a successful fisherman.
- Techniques
- During the summer months, the captain likes to drift croaker over deep structure including oyster beds, rock groins, and around sunken boat wrecks! Also, this is a great time to hop in the water and beat the heat while throwing live croaker over grass beds in thigh-to-waist deep water. In the fall, the captain will be targeting large schools of fish under flocks of seagulls! This can be some of the best fishing of the year. As it gets cold, he will be targeting trophy Speckled Trout wade fishing in knee-deep water, methodically working slow-sinking twitchbait over mud shell and grass.
