- Background
- Fishing has always been a true passion of mine. I really enjoy using a variety of fishing techniques through the year while targeting the wide range of fish species we have to offer on the west coast of Florida. I have always had a passion for the water and fishing has been one of my favorite ways to relax. I mostly use live bait but there are times we like to use cut bait and artificial lures. Fishing is a science and you must approach each targeted fish with the proper techniques to achieve the best results. Over the past 30+ years of fishing I have learned a lot of the secret locations in our local waterways and I am excited to show you a great time on the water catching fish with a true local.
- Techniques
- Different times for the year requires a unique approach while targeting certain species. When its winter time we use a lot of Shrimp and Pinfish. We will fish a lot of docks, bridges, and mangroves throughout the day. The Mangrove Snapper and big Sheepshead come in from offshore and the bite gets really good at winter. During the summer time or warmer months of the year we like to use Shiners or Pinfish for awesome Snook and Redfish bites. When we fish for Spotted Seatrout we like to use a lot of artificial baits, the artificial bait helps stop us from gut hooking the fish and hurting the fish when we release them. I truly enjoy using a variety of fishing techniques to catch our targeted fish through the year.
