Trip: Father/son first offshore fishing trip celebrating son’s 21st birthday.
Scenario: Very late red snapper season (7/30) with threatening weather.
The Experience:  Captain Devin was very communicative before our day to fish.  I asked some questions the day before our trip, and he replied within minutes while offshore.  The morning of our trip, he texted to let us know there was a potential storm that could change our plans but assured us we would catch fish.  Devin and his deckhand were on time and efficient getting us out to the fish.  Because of unexpected high winds offshore, we were not able to get out to the Captain Devin’s preferred spot.  He immediately said that he would provide a lower trip charge due to the less than desirable conditions.  He and Evan kept us baited and fishing all day. As soon as a the bites slowed in a spot, we would make our way to another one.  We caught fish, made memories and had a great time.  For this being our first time fishing in Pensacola, we learned a lot from Captain Devin.  If you’re looking for a great guide who cares as much as you don about your experience, book your trip with Captain Devin!

We went out on a 4 hour offshore adventure, and the entire experience was a blast. Captain Devin and Evan were wonderful, knowledgeable, and a great time. We got on the vermilion snapper immediately, and even caught a couple red snapper. The bite was slow for the end of the season, but it was still a ton of fun. You can tell Devin enjoys what he does and loves the sport. He was as eager to get us on our dinner as we were to bring them in. Now that we know our six year old son can hang on the boat, we will definitely be booking a longer trip in the future. Highly recommend Alpha Fishing Charter!

We we’re looking to have a good time and boy did we! We booked an 8 hour trip with Devin and his deckhand Evan and we definitely had the best time! We wanted to catch red snapper and we limited out! We hooked up on a shark a few times and got the chance to fight that some. That itself was a blast. We’re a family that loves to fish and these fish gave us a fight. We had such a good time, the weather was great and we made some awesome memories together. We would highly recommend booking a trip with them if you’re looking to have a fun and make some memories!

Captain Devin was amazing! We had a morning trip set but the weather didnt cooperate and we thought we would have to reschedule. We messaged back and forth several times as he watched the forecast and he was able to get us out later in the afternoon! He was determined to get us out and on some fish!! He put us right on some awesome fish and gave us great tips and tricks. It ended up being the perfect time with calm water and beautiful weather. We had an amazing time! Once we got out there, we quickly limited out on Red Snapper. Capt Devin knows where the fish are and will get you on them. His experience shows on the boat. Within moments of our line hitting the water, it was fish on!  It was a good and memorable experience.
