We went out about 2.5 miles. 3 locations in that same area. No casting, just dropped lines. Caught 2 different (small) fish. tried for grouper but no luck. Captain Nick actually fished for the grouper and my bf was on standby to real it up so technically he wouldnt have caught it. It was nice to be out on the water but was hoping for a little more excitement. My teenagers got bored but we did keep a few catches and Nick cut them up for us and our hotel bar cooked them!

Captain Nick planned our charter exactly as we wanted and did everything he could to put us on the fish.  We wanted an easy catch to start to set a positive experience for our first timer and he put us on a spot that landed fish as as soon as the bait hit the water.  He then took us out deeper to target more sportier catch at the reefs, where we landed a nice cobia.  highly recommended.

Family of 6 had an awesome time fishing on a 3 hr trip!  Nick was knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful.  He made the trip very enjoyable for all of us.  Our kids had a wonderful time and would love to do it again! Dinner was delicious when we got home too!!  Highly recommend this charter!

Worked extra rods while we fished in order to put us on nice cobia.  Kept moving to keep the bite hot. plenty of meat.
