Communication prior to trip was exceptional as weather in the area had threatened for 24 hours. Captain gave us the thumbs up before sunrise so we could make our 7am launch. Every member of our group caught fish and bald eagles were spotted. Most importantly our grandson said the day was “awesome”! We would definitely book again and highly recommend trip to others.

Jimmy was very good helping and teaching my grandson. Very patient. Knew how to get on catfish pretty quick. Caught about 30 with plenty kept for dinner. Stripers weren’t biting so stuck with catfish. Certainly knowledgeable about lake Conroe and a great choice for a pleasant day out. Boat was great for what we did. Plenty room. I appreciated jimmy teaching me a few things about how he uses the fish finder (I just bought one and was wanting some pointers).

This was our first time fishing with a guide and it was an excellent experience. My son never done fishing on a boat and Captain Jimmy was so helpful with setting everything up and within minutes at our fist location we start catching fish right away!! We really enjoyed our time with captain Jimmy and will come back and do it in summer again. He also cleaned everything we caught and bagged it for us! I highly recommend this to anyone!

My husband and I had a great experience fishing with Jimmy. He was extremely knowledgeable and took us to some great spots where we caught so many fish! He also filleted them all for us at the end, which made for a great dinner! We would recommend this trip to anyone who is ants a fun day out catching lots of fish. Jimmy was such a great guy and the trip far exceeded our expectations.
